Good Neighbours Become Good Friends!
March 8, 2019The Isle of Arran, although quite different in landscape, is one of Bute's closest neighbours. And so when we heard that the island was to hold its very first vegan festival, Arran VegFest, in November 2019, we were delighted to get involved. And so Bute Island Foods is delighted to announce that we are a sponsor of what should be a wonderful weekend event.
The event will take place on the 2nd and 3rd November, with several confirmed speakers including Keith Robertson, founder of the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine; Barbara Bolton of Go Vegan Scotland; Dave Sheehan, the vegan triathlete and coach; and Nicola Dee Kelly, a Consultant Medical Herbalist and plantbased nutritionist. Tony Bishop-Weston will be there in the guise of Capt. James Tea Cook, along with his smoothie bike, providing informative entertainment for children.
Stalls confirmed so far include Go Vegan Scotland, The Real Food Shop, The Scottish School of Herbal Medicine, Arran Gin and of course Bute Island Foods .
