Among the many highlights of the show were the Global Food Court, which featured 10 hand-picked street food caterers offering a unique repertoire of of plant-based cuisine, from the staple burgers, hot dogs and pies to the more glamorous Caribbean and Greek specialities.   For those wanting to expand their cooking skills, the International Cuisine Cookery Classes showcased a variety of multicultural vegan dishes from around the world.   The Artisan Food Creative Classes showcased artisan vegan foods, while the Eazy Vegan Kitchen featured a selection of fast and easy plant-based dishes, from superfoods to fast food options.

And the Plant Powered Fit for Life stage presented a number of well-known athletes, celebrities and influencers, including Heather Mills, TV presenter Jasmine Harman, World Champion triathlete Kate Strong and popular DJ Adamski, all relating their stories to an attentive audience.

The organisers were more than happy with the success of the event.   "œWe 're all delighted to see Plant Powered Expo getting off to a good start. First set up as an outreach event for plant-based curious, Veganuary participants and new vegans, Plant Powered Expo aimed to deliver a pleasant experience with a plethora of activities under one roof and leave a lasting impression for those looking to go plant-based.   We can 't extend enough thanks to everyone who visited the show as well as those who contributed to the magic over the weekend, including all our sponsors, exhibitors, caterers, speakers, performers, hosts, venue staff, contractors, and of course our organising team and volunteers. "

Next on the organisers' calendar is the ever-popular VegFestUK, this year being held at Olympia Grand on 14th-15th November.   If you can't wait until then, be sure to check out our extensive extensive listing of vegan events to find an event near you.
