Sheese Included in Vegetarian Society Student Box

Many of us know what it's like on your first week of university.   The sense of freedom, the trepidation of things unknown, quickly making new friends, all of whom are in the same boat as you.   And I'm sure you were supplied with some essentials from your mother - I remember the peanut butter and digestive biscuits being a lifesaver for me!

Now the Vegetarian Society  is sending out thousands of "Little Green Boxes" to universities around the country for Freshers' Week to help students on their first tentative steps of independence.   The boxes are full o f vegan and vegetarian treats and essentials - including samples of Bute Island Foods' Sheese.

As the Society says, "We want to show you just how easy it can be to save the planet while getting a degree!   Eating veggie food is one of the best things you can do to stop climate change."

Young people are among the most well-informed and active of climate change activists - let's hope the distribution of the Little Green Boxes encourages more to carry the torch.
