Rave Reviews for Cage Series of Plays

We at Bute Island Foods love to hear that one of the events that we have sponsored proves to be a huge success.   And that was certainly the case with "Cage - A Showcase of Short Family-Friendly Animal Plays".

The series of plays, performed at London's Baron Theatre last week, was a family-friendly environmental and animal-rights showcase, with proceeds going to several animal charities, including Four Paws, Camp Nibble and the Vegan Society.   The aim of the showcase was to spread awareness of animal abuse and show the suffering of various animals in both a dramatic yet humorous way.

The reviews on the Facebook page of the production company, Primal Theatre, have been extremely positive.   Our favourite reads:

"Excellent show, actors and production team.   Thoroughly enjoyed the very humorous and thought provoking series of short playlets shown from animal points of view.   Very innovative style of presentation that grabs your attention from start to finish...even vegan nibbles given out halfway".   Which, of course, included our very own Sheese products.
