Praise at Vegetarian & Vegan V2 Awards

As reported back in January, Bute Island Foods was nominated as Brand of the Year in the inaugural Vegetarian and Vegan (V2) Awards 2020.   The awards, although primarily aimed at the vegetarian and vegan catering industry, included this category specifically for suppliers of vegan foods, and we are delighted to announce that we have been received a Highly Commended award.

The black-tie event took place on Monday February 24, at The Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.   Top restaurants, takeaways, bistros and suppliers from across the UK gathered to celebrate those who shone brightly in 2019.    These Awards recognised the real masters across various categories and those who provide colourful and tasty salads, smoothies or even vegan burgers and curries, using natural ingredients and staying loyal to the ethical values of   vegetarianism.    The event heartily celebrated the vegetarian and vegan friendly establishments, where there is always something delicious for the whole family to enjoy as their inventive menus include everything, creating a vegetarian oasis in the cities of the UK.
