October 8, 2018It seems astonishing that Bute Island Foods has now been producing quality vegan foods for 30 years. From humble beginnings around a farmhouse kitchen table, producing the first vegan hard cheese, the company has grown more recently at an astounding rate and now supplies its range of produce worldwide.
Throughout this growth, three overriding principles have remained resolute in the ethos of the company - to be at the front of innovation and quality, to provide the very best vegan cheeses and animal-free products to our customers, to promote the benefits of an animal-free diet to as wide an audience as possible, and of course to showcase the beautiful island we call home.
Managing Director Debbie Dawson, who has been at the helm of the company for the last 15 years, is delighted to see the continued growth. "œThe company has come a long way in the last 30 years, with our Sheese branded vegan alternatives now available in stores throughout the UK and beyond. And, of course, we supply some of the largest supermarkets with their own branded produce. With new markets opening up around the world, and new varieties of Sheese being developed, we are looking forward to the next 30 years. "
