Our Red Leicester style Sheese has replaced the Red Cheddar style, and is a an attractive red coloured, medium strength vegan and kosher delight, here in convenient sliced form.
Red Leicester style Sheese, made with coconut oil, makes mouth-watering Sheesy Enchiladas (that you can serve with a spicy tomato and mushroom sauce), is perfect for Sheesy sauces, and livens up any pizza if placed on top. And how appealing is the idea of mixing it with our Mild Cheddar style? Interesting enough to give it a whirl!
However, you could also just decide to treat yourself to the old favourite – Red Leicester style on toast. Place generous slices of Sheese on the bread of your choice, drizzle some olive oil and season with ground paprika, sea salt & black pepper. A few minutes under a hot grill and you will then have the scrumptious snack you’ve been thinking of all morning long.

The Blue English Style comes in a wedge shaped block, with a tangy flavour, but unlike Blue French style, it has perhaps a slightly creamier flavour, with the distinctive somewhat aromatic and “mushroomy” blue cheese notes that this flavour is well known for. It goes so well with fruits like pears & old English apples such as Russets and Granny Smiths, but it will also add a new flavour twist to all your meals.
Lots of American recipes actually use Blue: for salad dressings, vinaigrettes, dips, in potato cakes or shaved into salads (accompanied with walnuts and a glass of Sauterne, well, just saying).
It is perfect between granary bread with slices of beefsteak tomato & a big pinch of fresh tarragon, and absolutely lovely in a Blue Sheese coleslaw. But topped with herbs, paprika and a sprinkle of olive oil, the Blue Sheese is fabulous toasted or cooked in general too.
It can be easily grated into mashed potato, as a garnish for well roasted jacket potatoes (and sprinkled with rosemary) or melted in a Blue Sheese & Broccoli soup!
Like Blue English, our Blue French style Sheese comes in a wedge. Similar to Blue English, but perhaps slightly tangier with regards to its “blue” flavour, and the eye appeal of those blue flecks, to create an authentic look, reminiscent of French cheese.
Really, you can use it in similar ways to the Blue English Sheese and substitute this in any dairy-based recipes calling for Blue cheese. It’s actually fabulous melted in toasties with some slices of tomato, or add to your savoury pie fillings alongside courgettes and mushrooms.
This is also a great candidate for your cheeseboards, as it creates lots of interest visually and because of their varied and exciting flavours, along with our Jalapeno Cheddar, Wensleydale with Cranberries, and German Smoked flavours.
