Chestnuts roasting by an open fire...mistletoe and wine...walking in a winter wonderland...and every other cliched Christmas song you can think of!   Yes, it's that time of year, when we head towards Christmas with all the joy that brings...and inevitably Mariah Carey blasting on the radio!

And here at Bute Island Foods, we like to bring you the very best festive - and vegan - recipes to complete your Christmas cheer.   Our offering this year, provided by our resident chef Pamela Higgins, is a delicious Apple, Cranberry & Wensleydale Crumble Loaf, full of yummy goodness that will delight the whole family, old and young.

Using our festive Wensleydale Style Sheese with Cranberries, which can of course be enjoyed at any time of year, Pamela's recipe evokes every aspect of Christmas, with apples, cranberries, maple syrup, cinnamon and plenty of of Christmas cheer.
