Bute Island Foods Travels to Barcelona

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it!   Debbie, Mark and Paulo were the lucky representatives from Bute Island Foods at one of Europe's most important food expos, the Free From Functional Food Expo, held this year in Barcelona, Spain.

Free From Functional Food is Europe's only dedicated free-from and functional food trade show and conference. This expo is the key place to source the very latest in new product development and trends. The event serves as a bridge between free-from functional food suppliers and free-from buyers from Europe 's top retailers, R&D, food service, bio, health and other free-from distribution channels.   As Bute Island Foods is an enthusiastic advocate of free from foods, with our extensive range of vegan cheese, it is a natural event for us to be exhibitors.

Held at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via exhibition centre on 28-29th May, the event was well attended by buyers, suppliers and developers in the free-from food industry across Europe.   Spain, as well as many other European countries, is very much an emerging market for Bute Island Foods, so it will be interesting to see the benefits from our investment in the event over the coming months.
