Bute Island Foods Nominated in VegfestUK Awards 2019
October 9, 2019We are delighted to announce that Bute Island Foods has been nominated for Best Vegan Cheese in this year 's VegfestUK Awards, which bring together the nation 's top vegan products, services and personalities.
Our association with VegFestUK is long, and we were earlier pleased to say that we are once again a major sponsor of the event, one of the largest of its type in the UK. But it is always gratifying that our partners recognise the love, work and effort we put into the production of our Sheese. We are therefore delighted to be nominated - and of course it is over to you to vote for us. Remember, every vote counts!
Sheese is, of course, no stranger to awards. Our products have been widely recognised throughout the world, and we are honoured to have won so many awards.
About the VegfestUK Awards
The VegfestUK Awards have been running for 13 years, with the aim of celebrating the best vegan products and projects in the UK, and voting is now open at www.london.vegfest.co.uk/voteStarting life back in 2007, the VegfestUK Awards have grown leaps and bounds as the years go by - this year sees altogether 190 nominees eyeing for top spots across 19 categories, in correspondence with the tremendous growth in breadth and depth of vegan products. Categories range from "œmeats ", "œcheese ", snacks, ready meals, sauces, ice cream and street food, to vegan household items such as candles, skincare, fragrances & makeup, as well as restaurants, magazines, festivals and markets, showcasing the vegan way of life in multiple dimensions.
The organisers added, "œIt 's a pleasure to bring back the coveted VegfestUK Awards for another year with even more variety of products represented than ever before. For us, the Awards are not only about the results, but most importantly represent the diversity of vegan products available in the market right now, making it ever more accessible for everyone in the UK to be vegan. The Award winners will be announced with trophies presented on the Saturday part of VegfestUK London, in the Auditorium at Olympia Conference Centre (on Level 3 of Olympia Central).
