Bute Island Foods is a winner yet again! At a glamorous awards dinner at The Brewery in London on Friday 22nd November, the Quality Food and Drink Awards 2019 heaped recognition on our Sheese by awarding our Grated Mild Cheddar Style Sheese the winner’s trophy in the Vegan/Vegetarian Dairy-Free category. And to highlight the quality of our products, the latest addition to our Sheese range, Cheddar Style Sheese with Garlic & Chives, was awarded a Highly Commended certificate!
Representing the company at the awards dinner were Charlotte Miller and Janette MacDonald, who can be seen in our photograph receiving the award for our Grated Mild Cheddar. Janette was delighted with the result. “The awards we have received this evening are recognition of the dedication of all our staff to produce quality vegan cheese that anyone can enjoy.” She continued, “Charlotte and I were proud to represent the company at an event which is seen as the benchmark of quality in the food industry.”
Our 2019 awards follow previous success at the 2018 awards, when our Smoked German Style Sheese was announced the winner in the Dairy-Free category.
The 2019 ceremony marked 40 years of celebrating quality food and drink within the industry. The long history of the awards means that the ‘Q’ logo on any winner’s pack is now the most recognisable mark of excellence for retailers, food and drink manufacturers, food service providers, wholesalers, suppliers and small producers alike.
Bute Island Foods’ continued success at the various awards ceremonies is confirmation that we are doing something right, as we strive to bring the very best of vegan and dairy=free cheese to markets around the world.
