GOUDA STYLE is a tangy
aromatic Sheese, which is ideal with potatoes or in pasta sauces, gratins (a savoury
crumble made with bread crumbs & Sheese), and salads. Perfect on pizza or
just accompanied by an Oak-aged
New World Chardonnay, just try it and see! It is thought
that Gouda is named after the Van der Goude family, which also gave its name to the Dutch city Gouda.
During the 15th century the city, Gouda, was as big as Amsterdam. Try Gouda style Sheese cut into cubes served with wine. It's perfect grated into mashed potato or shaved onto
sprouts. Lovely on rye bread or toasted onion bagels. |
